Stowplan as an EasyCargo alternative
Both tools turn a cargo list into a 3D container load plan. The differences that matter are what you pay, whether you can use it before you pay, and what happens to the plan after it leaves your screen. Prices below were checked on EasyCargo’s own pricing page on July 25, 2026.
What each one costs

EasyCargo also discounts 30% on orders of 3+ users or totals above $2,400, and licenses separately to universities. If you are buying for a department, price that directly with them — the per-seat maths changes at volume and this page will not be current on it.
The two real differences
You can plan before you pay, permanently.EasyCargo gives you the full product for 10 days; after that the tool stops. Stowplan’s free tier has no expiry and no calculation meter — unlimited plans, interactive 3D, and custom equipment, capped at one container per plan, five saved plans, and twenty active share links. You can build a real plan at /plan/new without making an account at all.
The plan is built to leave the desk. Every plan carries a phone step-through for the person at the container door and a printable dock sheet, on a share link that does not expire. That is the part of the workflow Stowplan is designed around, and it is where you should judge it.
Where EasyCargo is the better buy
Genuinely, in these cases — do not switch:
- You need a procurement-shaped purchase. Quotations, purchase orders, multi-branch enterprise licensing and educational licensing are all things EasyCargo sells and Stowplan does not.
- Your team is ten-plus occasional users. A pack of day tickets at volume, with the 30% multi-user discount, is a pricing model Stowplan has no answer to.
- You are standardised on it already and it works. Load planning is muscle memory. If your coordinators are fast in EasyCargo and nothing hurts, the switch is not worth the week.
What Stowplan does not have
Stated plainly so you find out here rather than three days in. Stowplan has no cargo or equipment libraries, no API, no single sign-on, and no aircraft or vessel modes. Pro is one planner — it is a seat, not a team licence, so if your crew all need logins you want Teams, not Pro. And a computed load plan is not a substitute for checking the load before it goes on the truck.
Try it against a real shipment
The honest test is your own cargo list, not a demo. Paste it in, see whether the plan is one your dock could actually execute, and decide from that.
